We love to dance

Myra Linn Dance Club was founded in 1999 by fifth grade teachers Leticia Parsons, Alicia Rubio and Laura Marquez.  The team is formed of fourth and fifth graders from Myra Linn Elementary School in Riverside who perform at school, district, neighborhood, and community events.  Their repertoire includes upbeat routines to popular music, music from the past, and beautiful renditions of patriotic songs performed in American Sign Language.   In addition to rigorous practices that promote self discipline and physical fitness, all dancers are held to high standards of academics, behavior, and appearance.    Dancers must show their school spirit by wearing their uniforms proudly each school day.  You will always know an MLDC dancer by their bright smile and a pleasant attitude.
